"Yeh Ghazi yeh Tera Pur'israar Banda "

AN HOUR BEFORE DAWN ON 7 JUNE 2010,  the day Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was scheduled to visit Kashmir, I drove to Geelani’s home to meet him again. It was 4 am and Geelani was about to begin his morning prayers. A white-bearded man opened the gate and led me to a mosque just inside Geelani’s compound. Inside, there was a small gathering of bearded men, some old, some young, waiting for Geelani to lead their prayers. I heard some tentative footsteps approaching the mosque. It was Geelani. His nicely trimmed beard, not the kind attributed to fundamentalists, complimented his subtle expression and appearance. He looked extraordinarily fresh when he gazed at me through his moist green eyes.

Protesters clashing with police has become all too common.Geelani finished his prayers and led me inside his study room. He took down the Qur’an from the bookshelf, sat down cross-legged, and began reading the Arabic text until the morning sun breached the edge of the white curtains. He slowly guided his index finger along the written verses.

Each time you study the Qur’an, you find new things, new inspirations.” Geelani said. “This book guides you on how you walk, how you treat your neighbours, your friends, your parents, your brothers, your sisters.

I am a stone pelter. Who are you?

FIRST PERSON

------- and what else can I do to express my resistance against oppression, writes Imran Muhammad Gazi an MBA student.

I have been shot in the ribs. I am on a stretcher in an emergency ward of a city hospital. Who am I? I am a stone pelter from a busy commercial area of Srinagar. This is my comprehensive introduction, no need to have a name, surname, qualification and profession. Just one word sums up my personality "Stone Pelter". I am not that educated but some of my educated peers tell me I have always been in news right from 1931. You will find me everywhere, i have stood the test of time, leaders have changed slogans have changed but I have not. Yes there was a time when I was sidelined, and gun wielding elders occupied the centre stage.

"Don't die so soon my son....Oh my beloved son – won’t you miss me,’’

When the boys carry the stretcher through the narrow swampy street, there is rage even in their steps. Suddenly the slogans sound like rhythmic wails. A child watches from a window as an elderly woman holds him tight and then showers almonds and sweets. Few fall on the body, wrapped in a colourful blanket.
It is already dark and the mourners try to find their way, guided by the light of their cell phone torches. Fida Nabi (17) is returning home one last time and his funeral procession is like a volcano of anger, a little confrontation with the security men can trigger a violent protest.

The government has already decided to re-impose curfew after a day of hiatus and now officials are waiting anxiously to know the family’s plan to bury this teenager. Fida had been at the fore front of several protests. Tonight dozens of his teenager friends, assembled from across the downtown city, are seething with anger. Afuneral procession in the day meant trouble so the streets are emptied off police and security men way ahead of time to avoid confrontation. The police officers are encouraging the family to conduct the burial in the dark ofida nabif the night. The local police officer sends a message too. The orders have come from the top and pleas were followed by threats - we won’t allow more than 15 people to accompany the body after the sun rise.

India's moral defeat in Kashmir

State brutalisation puts the fear of the arbitrary in everyone, gradually making all Kashmiris potential victims.

A system of state brutality - marked by thousands of nameless graves - reigns in Kashmir [Showkat Shafi]

In the early 1990s, I had a long conversation with a former Kashmiri militant. Among other things, I asked him why he had given up. He did not, or could not, go beyond inchoate answers that hovered around fear, disillusionment, uncertainty, and so on.

There was one thing, however, that struck me as significant, thought provoking and ultimately disturbing. He said he was grateful to the authorities that he had not been killed in custody. He had spent a few nights in a local prison when he was picked up by the armed forces a year or so after he had given up. His family feared for his life, so they went on a frenzied campaign to save him, and they did succeed in getting him out alive. In Kashmir many do not, as we witnessed in the recent custodial killing of 28-year-old Nazim Rashid in the town of Sopore in central Kashmir.

SHAHEED NADEEM AHMED KHATEEB......A LEGEND OF ISLAMIC REISISTANCE IN KASHMIR!!!

The son of a former chief engineer. Resident of one ...of
Srinagar ’s poshest suburbs,Rawalpora. Educated in the city’s
best Christian missionary school,
Tyndal Biscoe. Graduate in geology, geography and
economics. Commercial pilot by
profession, realisation of a
childhood dream The perfect matrimonial ad? No way. This was
how Nadeem Khateeb ’s resume
read before he left a dream job in the US at the age of 30 to join the jehad in Kashmir as a foot-
soldier.
Long before Egyptian architect Mohammad Atta or one-time LSE
student Omar Sheikh attained poster-boy status, long before the serene-faced Osama bin Laden
became the symbol of the 21st century jehad, the modern Islamic warrior was born on Kashmiri
soil. Fired by the philosophy of alarz-u-lillah Wal hukmu lil-lah (the earth belongs to Allah and there
should only be God ’s rule on it), Nadeem, and the life he lived,
disprove the belief that the force of faith and the conviction in
sacrifice are Osama offshoots. Note the past tense though, for
Nadeem died six months short of his 32nd birthday in 1999, leaving behind resigned parents, a
hounded brother and a ruined business.
Before taking up arms for the pan-Islamic cause, Nadeem perhaps stood apart because of just one characteristic: his
extreme religiosity. ‘‘I don’t remember him missing a single
namaz since he was in class III ’’, says his mother Mahjabeen. ‘‘With two of his friends, he would bunk school on Fridays to attend the
prayers. ’’
Of his two closest friends, Ishfaq Majeed Wani grew up to be a commander of the militant Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front; he
died in an encounter in 1990. But even as Wani threw himself into the protests raging across the
Valley, Nadeem watched from the
sidelines. ‘‘He never even talked of joining the militants’’, says his father Inaytullah Khateeb.
‘‘ But I could sense something brewing inside him. Maybe he
was facing some sort of a dilemma. He finally sought all his
answers in faith. And when he was convinced, he left
everything ’’, says a relative. ‘Everything’ included his flying
career, a goal Nadeem had worked almost single-mindedly towards since March 1992, when he joined a flying school in Karnal, Haryana. ‘‘He trained as a commercial pilot at a school in Georgia. In January 1994, he
joined the same school as a staff
flying instructor ’’, says Khateeb.
‘‘He came back to Srinagar in November 1994 and left again for Georgia in October 1996. He
wanted to join an airlines there. ’’
An ordinary life, ordinary ambitions. Or so his parents
believed. Even today,twelve years,
they have no answers when asked what happened in their
son ’s life to alter it so drastically. ‘‘He would call us and tell us he was fine. How would we know
where he was calling from? We thought he was in the US ’’, says
Khateeb. It later came to light that Nadeem
left the US to join the Al-Badr training camp in Pakistan. After
completing his training in firearms, the 30-year-old youth
crossed over to Kashmir as part of
an Al-Badr group whose designated area of work was the
Mahore belt of Jammu. It was here
that he was killed in an encounter in early 1999.
‘‘Nadeem had been engaged to a girl, a relative. But he was
reluctant to marry, we never knew why. We never knew he had a plan for his life ’’, says his father.
But the hints were there in letters Nadeem wrote home; it had much to do with his upbringing as a strict Muslim (see box above). A
close friend explains it thus: ‘‘He used to brood a lot on the US
exploitation of the Muslim countries. He said that after being
in the US for so many years, his eyes had finally opened. He read the Qutub Shaheed, and his faith strengthened so much, he wouldn ’t talk of anything else. He was convinced that if he died in jehad, he would be rewarded on judgement day. ’’
The Khateebs, on their part, are reconciled to the life their son chose, despite the harassment their other son Waseem faced and the ruination of their business. ‘‘I have no regrets. I have absolute faith that my son was a martyr
and is thus alive ’’, says Mahjabeen.
‘‘Whenever I am alone, I feel his presence. When I stand up on the prayer meet, I feel him next to me.
He was always his mother ’s boy.’’

Why i need freedom. part 2

continue......
.......................Till yet i have seen only burnt houses, shattered,
families, torn hijabs, economic
and information blockades,
custodial killings, sex scandals,
fake encounters, humiliated olds,
withered youth, horrified
infants, orphans and widows..
When this is the case when should
one expect of to shower praises
on a democracy which i have
never seen.. This is a serious
question for the powers that-be..
I have a reason to be a
stonepelter.. We often hear
indian leaders claiming kashmir
to be integral part of India but
why there is a differential
treatment for this part of a
country which is valued as world's
largest democracy. When people
like Mani Shanker Iyer say"let
the kashmiris go where ever they
want but we will not give them a
single inch of the land"it
demonstrates only but
Arrogance. Hope these words fly
and knock at at the doors that
mean to raise a voice for justice
and human dignity. It is already
very late. We have put in a huge
cost in terms of men and
material..please wake up and try
to know that"why i need
freedom"...

Why i need freedom. 1

It was my bad luck to be born in
the world's largest democracy. I
was sure to exercise all the
prestigeous rights one enjoys in
democracy but the very first
sound that entered my ears was
Azaan mingled with the cries of
my people being beaten by canes
and treated by bullets.. Till yet i
am not able to know which part
of the democracy they were
following.. I, as a kid, was
slapped by a soldier as i didn't
wish him"Jai Hind"or"Vande
Mataram".. Was it a necessary
lesson that my Aappa(Mother)
had forgot to teach me.. I am
now sure that he has not slapped
me but the very basic principles
of democracy of which india is
too proud.. The long mustaches of
that Armymen had snatched all
the glory and taste of my sweet
childhood.. Nobody ever has tried
to know the cause of the anger
lying in my eyes.. Was it water
due to fear, blood due to anger
or dryness due to thirst of
freedom from opression???.. In
a couple of years i was
encouraged by the fact that
everybody in kashmir had the
same story to reveal.. I alone was
not the victim of indian demon
cracy.. It was to make me aware
of the fact that i little enjoy the
rights of a free citizen.. I was
ready to constuct bunkers for
soldiers, gaurd the highways
during nights(no matter whose
duty it was), halt mid-way to
give passage to the convoy's,
lead search parties to suspected
millitant hide-outs, move without
pheran(local gown) and kangri
(fire pot) in the chilling winter,
offer apples and walnuts free of
cost, speak in their language in
front of media, cast my vote
against my wish and carry their
charcoal bags that had spoiled
my school uniform.. Right now
when i have almost lived one third
of my life i an yet to get a feel
of a citizen of a truly democratic
nation.

Gaw Kadal Massacre "I saw a dog eating a human arm"

Jagmohan was appointed on January 19, 1990. That night, in response to the kidnapping of Rubaiya Sayeed and other militant attacks, Indian security forces conducted warrantless and thus illegal house-to-house searches in Srinagar, hunting for illegal weapons or other evidence of support to the militants. They dragged many people out of their beds into the bitter cold. Many Kashmiris complained that they were beaten and abused.Jagmohan maintains that he had nothing to do with the decision.
The next morning, as word of the searches and beatings began to spread, people began to pour out into the streets of Srinagar. From the mosques, loudspeakers urged Kashmiris to come out and fight for azaadi, or freedom. Thousands of Kashmiris gathered to protest the actions of the security forces.
The state government declared a curfew, but few if any Kashmiris observed it.It was early evening when one group of marchers reached the Gaw Kadal Bridge on Srinagar's JhelumRiver. They were shouting slogans and some were pelting the soldiers with stones. Troops from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) opened fire into the crowd. Eyewitnesses say the shooting was a brutal and excessive use of lethal force against demonstrators. Many demonstrators were shot from behind as they turned to run away.Kashmiri news photographer Meraj-ud-din described the scene:

The Rape of Loura Jane Lambie in Kashmir

Born in 1966, 24 year old Miss Loura Jane Lambie, a Canadian agricultural science student, was on a stroll on October 11th on the boulevard in Srinagar when it was just getting towards darkness. Near the Centaur Hotel, she was having a chat with three local boys asking them about what was going on in Kashmir and was immediately waylaid by personnel of the Indian National Security Guards (MSG) traveling in a white Maruti van. They were armed with automatic weapons and carried radios. One of them, tall but slim, warned Loura not to get into conversation with local Muslim youth. “All of them are very, very dangerous terrorists and can molest you in this desolate spot”, he told her.

When the guards asked her who she was, she replied “a Canadian”. “You shall have to accompany us to the police station” and thus Loura was asked to board the vehicle. Instead of any police station, Loura was taken to the Oberoi palace hotel where the Indian guards had a drink, from their own bottles because the hotel bar was closed. She did not drink even though she was invited to do so. Then guards then ordered her to board the vehicle again as they told her it was not safe for her to go back to the house boat at that late hour, for the Kashmiri militants could kill her at any spot. The guards also took away her purse. Loura was then taken to a garden near Chasma Shahi. It was 1 am on October 12th.

"COMBAT MENTAL SLAVERY" !!

To overhaul what is the most menacing force today on earth,
to rise again to the echelons of power and glory, we must
DISCARD our defeatist approach –
we must break our self-built shackles of slavery – Mental slavery. Mental slavery is not to
learn good, reasonable and
desired virtues from the west in general or US in particular. Mental slavery means endorsing anything and everything which
happens to carry a ‘western’ tag with it. It also connotes unnecessarily compromising with one ’s identity. We eat in ‘McDonalds’, drink ‘Pepsi’, travel
with ‘Hidesign’, wear ‘Levis’, run in ‘Nike’ knowing that through these goods they are literally
robbing our pockets – knowing that the revenue earned helps
them to fund Israel to killour own brethren. Our mental slavery
has one more dangerous dimension. We consider this as height of knowledge and intellectual calibre to convincingly
quote Fried, Marx, Laski, Darwin, Darkheim and Nietzsche. etc. To
learn their thoughts critically and lament overtheir ignorance of divine source of knowledge is admirable but to believe in their
shaky, confused and unscientific myths just because they were western could be the path of an
ignoramus, not of a Momin. We must do our utmost to maintain our identity, self respect and dignity as an Ummah. Wemust unlearn all the vicesof lavish expenditures, voluptuousness, intellectual slavery whichultimately prove that we are culturally bankrupt
and so are trying to emulate a so-called “superior” way of life.
We must reclaim our lost virtues or austerity and analytical thinking.

'REDEFINE EDUCATION'

Maulana Maududi(a.r) has emphatically argued that, “ The
world is like a train which is being run by the engine of research and thinking, thinkers
and scholars are its
drivers…. The general people have no choice
but to proceed into the direction where their drivers are
heading …. to change the course of journey there in no second
option than to capture the engine and to alter its direction ….
Till then despite all our hue and cry, screams and pleases
the train will go on and on where its
materialist drivers are
taking it. ”

No Lullaby for Babies in Kashmir !

The Enchanted forest where the fairies live, The princess waiting for her prince to rescue her. The villains who take so many exotic shapes. The epic battles between truth and lies, Greatest sacrifices made with slightest of hesitations. The great love that the King and his queen shared. The colors that would blind the sun. The clouds which is softer than the cotton and you can fly on it to the end of the world. Stories of Sinbad, adventures of Ali Baba and princes from Persia doing the impossible. Friendly dragons and wonderful wizards battling the evil witches. Oh Child of Kashmir, I wish I could tell you the wonderful tales of fantasy. Tales that take us to a world where only truth is victorious. Tales where love is valued above all else. Tales where peace and tranquility is preserved at any cost. Oh how I wish I could you tell you the stories which shape the minds of young. I wish I could start the evening with the tale of valor and end it with tales of victory.

More than 16,000 Kashmiris Jailed under PSA in last 17 years

The Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir is holding hundreds of people each year without charge or trial in order to ‘keep them out of circulation’, a new Amnesty International report released today shows.

A ‘Lawless Law’: Detentions under the Jammu and Kashmir Public Safety Act, documents how the Public Safety Act (PSA) is used to secure the long-term detention of individuals against whom there is insufficient evidence for a trial.

Estimates of the number detained under the PSA over the past two decades range from 8,000-20,000, with 322 reportedly held from January to September 2010 alone.
“The Jammu and Kashmir authorities are using PSA detentions as a revolving door to keep people they can’t or won’t convict through proper legal channels locked up and out of the way,” said Sam Zarifi, Amnesty International’s Asia-Pacific Director.

“Hundreds of people are being held each year on spurious grounds, with many exposed to higher risk of torture and other forms of ill-treatment.”

State Sponsored Violence against Kashmiri Children by Indian Forces

By : Urooj al Ummar

The state sponsored violence against children within Indian Occupied Kashmir is not a new phenomenon. It started right from the day when Indian forces occupied Jammu & Kashmir in 1947 with use of force. Thousands of innocent children have been killed in cold blood, thousnads molested, tortured and have gone missing in last 63+ years. Few days ago I met an Indian citizen who told me that this practice is common all over India during tribal or family feuds, where children become main targets of violence. He further told me that the idea behind this brutal practice is simple "If you kill the father his son will take the revenge, but if you kill his child there is no one who can take the revenge, the family gets shattered and is never able to even live a normal life after the death of their moral, emotional and physical psychological support, their son." This ruthless practice has well taken by Indian Occupational Forces or Forced Backed by Indian agencies.

A Tribute to the Woman of Kashmir

it was a raw urge and an emotional outburst, i wanted to write about to get some closure over the pain i had seen recently. I saw the mother of Sameer Jan, the 8 year old boy beaten to death and trampled with jackboots in the 2010 Uprising.

Sameer Jan 8 jackbooted to death

I came home feeling enraged and saddened, came to my room, closed my eyes and my world wandered,
Wandered around the bloodied paradise that Kashmir had become. It was painful, felt like a dagger cutting your body in half, slowly like the merciless butcher. I couldn’t bear the pain of seeing Sameer’s Mother, of her eyes haunted by the blackened body of her son.
I needed something to vent, so i wrote this:-
Kashmir, the world’s most militarized zone, suffocating with over 500,000 thousand strangers thumping on its soil, once called the Paradise on earth is now in shards, reminiscent of the conflict that has been going on for six decades. The six decades which have been full of pain, tears, passion and suffering for the people that live in its misery.

Exclusive: A Plan within a Plan - Indo-Israel Nexus and the Assassination of Maulana Shaukat Shah

Just 5 days ago, when Frontline Kashmir was told about an intelligence report that SOMETHING was going to happen in Jammu & Kashmir soon and Indo-Israel nexus had planned a multi-objective covert operation in Kashmir, i was wondering what this impotent RAW could come up with this time. The ultimate objective was to launch surgical strikes on suspected militant outfits in Azad Kashmir to engage Pakistan army over there. Entire operation was said to be funded by Israeli agencies because it was a part of an even greater plan which would have benefited Israel ultimately. Fleet was ready with an execution plan. Keep in mind the movement of chinese forces on the borders which i would relate to all these happenings later in this post. Pakistan's Agencies were aware and informed about this plan. This plan was discussed with the Ministry of State security (MSS) by Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) immediately. Chinese Forces, which are already in a strategic partnership with Pakistan Army, displayed a strategic move to counter this evil plan and beefed up its forces along the line of Control just to convey a message to Indo-Israel nexus that any move of aggression against Pakistan in Azad Kashmir would be countered jointly by Sino-Pak nexus. That was the reason why General Parnaik and Indian media started shouting on the move of Chinese forces along the Line of Control (LoC) because they knew they didn't have guts to face Pakistan and China Simultaneously. The crux of saying is that Chinese move on the border was not purposeless.

Kashmir’s war journalists - Special Report by Kashmir Life

From Afghanistan to Libya, Iraq to Thailand, the world gets to see the conflict through the cameras and pens of war-groomed Kashmiri journalists. P A Mushtaq reports.

In the second week of April, Srinagar-born Associated Press photojournalist Altaf Qadri, 35, got separated from a battery of reporters covering conflict in Libya in North Africa. Qadri escaped unhurt the battleground of eastern Libyan city of Ajdabiya and reached safely to his office in Benghazi after 30 hours. Qadri’s work reflecting trail of the battle between Libyan head Muammar Gaddafi’s loyalists and rebels were published across the globe, opening a window for readers to peep into the war from a distance.

“I went into hiding when Gaddafi forces launched a surprise attack on the rebels, who made a hasty retreat. My driver drove off without even waiting for me.

I was hiding for 30 hours and left the area only after the rebel forces regained control of that area,” recalled Qadri, who won the prestigious World Press Photo award in the People in News category this year.

'The present fight is not just for regaining and retaining our political authority'

The present fight is not just for regaining and retaining our political authority but to retain our Muslim
Identity, the latter related directly
to our understanding of Faith. The knowledgeable among the muslims have to weigh the
relative importance of
these two aspects. We need to remember
that we have to rebuild the structure of our Ummah and it
needs a composite effort addressing both these together.
The Qital that we are invoking in our times has to be a manifestation of our Islam because we have been forced to take up arms because
our identity as a muslim is under
attack. It is not just that the enemy has taken our poitical
freedom and wrested the political authority from us but it is
involved in an incessant effort to
separate us from our faith and is promoting a way of life and a
vision of this world
wherein Faith is secondary to compulsions of this world and thus faith
becomes subservient to and not the
defining matter of our
world view. It does not mean that Political subservience is not to be resisted but it means that our
challenge is far far more profound than we are thinking and
that we need to appreciate this aspect in our fight against the designs of Kuffar......

''WHAT NEXT''

By: WAHID BASHIR.

Don't be confused. Keep
your eyes open. A time
will come, success will
embrace you. Though in
present scenario we feel
it as we feel air helping
us in maintaining our life
that in many respects we
are very close to our
destination but in many
other respects we are
yet to understand things
which create confusion
in our minds.Even
we
don't bother to think
about these things, how
to tackle them.
Support from masses is
important for every
movement and so is the
case with every freedom
movement, instead it
will not survive for a
long time i.e. Time till
success. As a nation we
have a fault, we are
repeatedly getting
preyed due to our wrong
calculations. At times it is
difficult for up to handle
the situations in hot
climates. There are many
examples from the two
recent mass uprisings of
2008 and 2010. These
examples are enough to
make us understand
that; What Next.
There is a checkpoint, it
will help us in many
ways and it is our youth.
Our youth especially the
educated, we must
concentrate on them.
Only internet related
campaigns, events,
awareness and other
programs will not help
us in final success,
though internet is one of
the valuable means. For
revolution real world is
waiting for us.
We have to change
thoughts of youth, their
ideologies and organise
them and make them a
practical tool for
achieving the goal.
This whole work to be
done is not meant for
our leadership. It is our
duty. Concentrate and
don't get confused; What
Next!
Instead with open eyes
we have to make a
decision; What Next, it
counts and nothing else
matters.
InshaALLAH very soon,
we will get Freedom.

Do you think of the

day of the Judgment?
What do you think
when you buy new
shoes or new clothes?
Does it remind you of
how smart you will
look or does it remind
you of the brothers
who lost their legs and
arms in a protest?
What do you think
when you start writing
on the Notebook or
typing on your PC?
Does it even remind
you of the obligations
that you have towards
the Islamic Revolution?
What do you think
when you leave for
College in the
morning ? Do you
think of the ones
who left everything
back home to fight
for the sake of Allah?
What do you think
when you leave for
work in the
mornings? Do you
think of the ones
back home who have
no one left to earn a
livelihood? What do
you think when your
daughter hugs you
when you come back
from work? Does it fill
you with joy and love
and then do you
remember the
daughter of a
Mujahid who has not
been to home for so
long?
Be your own judge
when you reply to
the above questions.
And believe me, my
Brothers we have
work to do.

How can kashmiris forget

nearly One lakh
Kashmiris, the
molestation of over nine
thousand kashmiri
women, the orphanage
of over 100 thousand
Kashmiri children and
the tears of countless
Kashmiri widows? If No,
then the spirit of Azadi
can never die. It is this
spirit which encourages
a common kashmiri to
face bullets without any
weapon, and it is this
spirit which challenges
the might of ‘mighty’
India and it is this spirit
that will lead Kashmir to
its Azadi.

My son died for freedom not money

"Srinagar, Oct 12: Death of
their eldest son Suhail
Yaseen Dar, 15, in police
and paramilitary CRPF
firing during the present
unrest has shattered the
dreams of Muhammad
Yasin Dar and his wife
Maryam, who wanted to
make him a computer
engineer.
Suhail was Yaseen’s eldest
son and was studying in
Vision Public School
Hyderpora. He was a
meritorious student and
had passed his exams with
good marks.
“Our son didn’t let us
down and scored over 90
per cent marks in his
previous classes. We were
waiting for the day when
he would become an
engineer,” Yaseen told
Greater Kashmir.

‘I miss Mamma, Will she ever return?'

On 1st death anniversary, hapless family remembers its beloved

Srinagar, Jan 20: When eight-year-old Sammawoke up on the chilly morning
Thursday she was surprised to see herhouse at Kohnakhan Dalgate thronged
by nears and dears, mostly women. However when they started to weep and hug
her, it reminded her of the priceless and irreparable loss she had suffered last
year on the same day when her beloved mother Shaheena Wani, 45, was crushed
to death by a speeding vehicle driven by a drunk cop on the tourist
hub of the Boulevard. For some moments, Samma stood speechless and gazed continuously at
visiting women— as if waiting for her mother. “I miss Mamma. Will she
ever return?” she told her elder sister Sakiba whohad no answers.
But gradually the painful memories of her mother’s loss was palpable on
Samma’s innocent face. Tears welled into her eyes and hit the ground.

WHY WEST IS PROMOTING SUFISM??

In regard to Sufism, and the great Sufis, like RUMI, GAZALI, AND BISTAMI, etc the teachings of these great men have never preached us the Sufism, what we are practicing now-a-days. As no Islamic law or faction allows us to listen music or allow the women to move unveiled. We should always make a firm belief in our hearts and minds, that our PROPHET [S.A.W] is best of all humans. His teachings will remain forever, and can not be changed.
But today’s age is called modern age, which I think is the Dark Age, a number of religious factions are active on the surface, based on rigid platforms, and preaching us various perspectives of Islam. Almost all these factions preach us the same thing but in different ways. Here let us focus on Sufism.
The basic belief of Sufism is to seek the pleasing of ALLAH by working to restore within themselves, a primordial state of fitra, as described in Holy QURAAN. In this state no one defies ALLAH and all this is undertaken by single motivation of love of ALLAH. A secondary consequence of this is that, the seeker may be led to abandon all notions of dualism, or multiplicity, including a conception of an individual self and to realize the divine unity. The Sufism can be characterized as  the science of the states of lower self,[ego] and way of purifying this lower self, of its reprehensible traits, while adoring it , instead with what is praiseworthy whether or not this process of cleansing, and purifying the heart in time rewarded by esoteric knowledge of ALLAH.
This can be conceived in terms of two basic laws, an outer law concerned with actions and an inner law concerned with heart. The outer law consists of rules pertaining to worship, transactions, marriage, judicial rulings, and criminal law, which is often a bit too broadly known as SHARIAH. The inner law of Sufism consists of rules about repentance of sin, the purging of contemptible qualities and evil traits of character and adornment with virtues and character.
To enter the way of Sufism a seeker begins by finding a teacher, as the connection to teacher is considered necessary for the growth of seeker. The teacher must have received authorization [ijaazah] to teach, from another master in a way of unbroken succession [silsilah], leading back to the origins with our PROPHET [S.A.W]. It is the transmission of the divine light from the teachers heart to heart of seeker rather than of the wordily knowledge transmitted from mouth to ear that allows the adept of progress. In addition, the genuine teacher will utterly strict in his adherence, to the divine law. Scholars and adherents of Sufism are unanimous in agreeing that the Sufism cannot be learned through books.
Having a brief look over few of the greatest Sufi scholars, these names come before us.

BAYAZID BISTAAMI:-This man is considered to be one of the six brightest stars in the firmament of the PROPHET [S.A.W] and is linked in golden chain of NAQASHBANDI order.  He was the first one to spread the reality of inhalation [FANA] where by the mystic becomes fully absorbed to of becoming unaware of himself or objects around him. Every exciting thing seems to be vanishing and he feels free of every barrier that could stand in the way of his viewing the remembered one.

IBN ARABI:- He is also considered one of the most important Sufi masters. Although he never founded any order [tareekha]. His writings especially Fatuhaat-ul-Makkiyah and Fusus-ul-Ehkaam has been studied within all the Sufi orders as the clearest expression of TAWHEED [divine unity]

JUNAID BAGHDADI: - He was one of the greatest early Sufis and is the central figure in golden chain of many Sufi orders. He laid the ground work for sober mysticism, in contrast to that of ALLAH.

MANSOOR AL HALLAJ: - Renowned for his claim ANA AL HAQ [I am the truth] for which he was executed for apostasy. He is still revered by Sufis for his fore rightness. It is also said that during his prayers he would say,”O LORD” “You are the guide of those who passing through the valley of bewilderment. If I am a heretic, enlarge my heresy.

Being Sufism a vast and unending topic, I feel that this brief information may be well enough for a common man to know the basic platform of Sufism. Here now the question arises that why West is promoting Sufism?
In response to this question, we should now realize that, is there any Sufi now?
No we won’t find any real Sufi in this age. The folks who claim to be Sufis are deifiers. They have altered all the laws of Sufism. In today’s Sufism, music is allowed, women are allowed to move unveiled, even the five time prayers are ignored. This is what west is promoting. And the person who follows real Islam is now called by name TALIB even by the most diluted Muslim factions, and process of SHARIAH is now known as TALIBANISATION. Today TALIBAN are known as the most brutal extremists all over the world, which is totally a wrong thing. But the fault lies within us because we must need to know the ground reality. The word TALIB means the “seeker” or a “student” having a desire to learn, and Taliban is plural of this word. Let us take an example of a person, who claims that he is Sufi, if the person is really following the Sufi track, and obeying his master then he is a TALIB --- yes he is a TALIB in all means and from every point of view, then what can be said to this regard that, the west is promoting TALIBAN.

Taliban is just an imaginary ghost developed by west, and the Jews, to justify their evil intentions. The Americans invaded IRAQ, and AFGANISTAN. If Iraqis and Afghans are bitterly fighting back, then what is wrong in that? If a thief steals our money, and we take it back……..Does that makes us also a thief?

Basically the problem does not lie in Afghanistan, or Iraq. The main thing that makes them restless is the Islamic system of governance, and if this system will be applied, then no other system of the world can stand against it. But the question is that, who will suffer most by Islamic system…… obliviously the Jews who are currently controlling the entire world economy. Their system will shatter, and fall like a building of cards, in just a few fractions of a second. Hence it is obvious that how Israel is using big powers of the world as the pawns, in her filthy game.
Here again one more question arises and needs to be answered. The question that, why west and Jews are playing these conspiracies and dirty games on the Muslim world?
In order to get reply for this question, we need to look a few decades back and peep through the holes of history.
Actually all this started soon after the end of the Second World War, when the Jewish propaganda of holocaust was lobbed upon the Nazi Germany. The Nazis were the national socialists and were predominantly catholic. The Nazis were fed up by the Jewish   population who were polluting the entire Europe at that time, all the banks, financial institutions, and even the government, almost every sphere of life was run by the Jews. So in order to get rid of this Jewish vermin, the Nazis started the World War in September 1939 by invading Poland. During this war the Nazi tried all their opportunities to crush the Jewish plague.  They were put into the forced labor; they were exterminated in the concentration camps. But nobody could ever come to know the real figure of the Jewish causalities. According to the Jewish propaganda of holocaust, the Jews claim that the 6.5million Jews exterminated by the Nazis.
During this war, the Jerusalem based Grand Mufti of Islam, MUFTI ALHAJ AMIN AL HUSSAINI, swore allegiance towards the Nazis and declared this war as holy war against the Jews. Mufti worked for axis powers. In 1941 the pro Nazi Iraqi army officers, led by Gen. Rashid Ali, forced the Iraqi Prime Minister, the pro British, Noori Sayed Pasha, to resign. From his base in Iraq, Mufti issued a Fatwa, for a holy war against Britain and her allies a month later in may 1941.
Mufti recruited Muslim volunteers for the Germen Armed Forces, operating in the Balkans. Beginning in 1941, Mufti visited Bosnia and convinced the Muslim leaders that a Muslim Waffen SS division would be in interest of Islam. During these efforts, 20000-25000 Muslim volunteered. Mufti was involved in organization, and recruitment of the Bosnian Muslims into several divisions of Waffen SS and other units. The largest was the 13th Handschar Division of 21065 men, which conducted the operations in Balkans, and Yugoslavia.
On March 1, 1944, while speaking on Radio Berlin, Mufti said; Arabs! Rise as one man, and fight for your scared rights, kill the Jews whenever you find them, this pleases ALLAH, history and religion. This saves our honor. ALLAH is with us.
This was the Mufti’s point of view regarding the war and the Jewish problem in Palestine.
After the war ended in 1945, the Nazi regime or the Third Reich was completely wiped out, and the captured Nazi officials were put on trail for various war crimes, by the allied countries. Most of these captured Nazis were later executed.
During those early post war years, when the reality of the holocaust began to reveal, it was obvious that, this holocaust was conducted by the Catholics. The desire of revenge was at the boiling point which may if left unattended may lead to a new war. So in order to deal with the on going situation, the allied powers diverted this issue towards the Muslim world as the Muslims had already supported the Nazis during the war. This diversion proved to be a fruitful tool for allies. The Jews now began to carry out their propaganda of holocaust to gain the world sympathy and to make their position firm. During this period the United Nations and NATO came into existence.
This world war changed the entire map of world. The British colonial butchers were then forced to liberate their occupied colonies and in this way INDIA too got freedom.
After this war, the Jews now again began to spread their traditional vermin and started the cold war against the Muslim world. First of all they didn’t intend an open war, so they focused on the conspiracies. In this program several Jewish agencies and apex bodies were formed to infiltrate deep into the Islamic world to spread their plague to weaken Islam internally. This formula worked very well. Muslims began to divide into a large number of factions with different theories of Islam. The Muslims began to hate each other on the religious grounds. These factions are the Jewish inventions to weaken the Islamic belief. When this tool proved to be a useful one, they began to promote it in various ways in almost all the countries. In order to keep this machine running a conspiracy triangle was formed which consists of AMERICA, INDIA AND ISRAEL.
America has its strong reasons to follow Israel because the entire American economy and technology is driven by the Jewish engines. The second most important thing is that Israel is the illegal problematic child of America
Now comes the turn of third angle of this triangle that is INDIA. In 1947 two countries came into existence, India and Israel. India being totally a backward and a poor country badly needed a guide who can enable her to prove her presence on global desk very fastly, so India choose Israel as her guide as she had quite good reasons to follow the Jewish path. Firstly India was divided on religious grounds. Most of the Indians Muslims moved to PAKISTAN after the partition but not all the Muslims. In order to make India now a dominant Hindu country, the Indian leadership decided to keep the Muslims at such a place where they will be no longer able to demand anything. The entire Muslim culture, languages, tradition soon began to vanish from the scenario. The Indian Muslims were deliberately kept far away from the field of education and technology. These are basically the Jewish formulas as Jews are much more experienced in fighting Muslims since last 1400 years. That is the exact reason that India is following the Jewish footmarks. But a spark that kindled the hate in Muslim hearts of India towards India was the demolition of the Babri Masjid.  This proved to be the real moment when the Indian Muslims realized the reality of India.  To deal with this on going situation, India consulted its master, Israel, who in turn suggested her formula which produced a mind blowing output. The formula was to carry out the terrorist activities and then to the lob the labels and responsibility on the Muslim shoulders. India is still doing the same.
Besides this we need to focus on an important point which may perhaps have faded out from our memories. During the massive public uprising in the summer of 2008 in Indian occupied Kashmir, when the slogans of freedom were chanting out from every Kashmiri mouth, which shattered the Indian blocks and India found the entire situation to be out of control, she again consulted her traditional conspiracy partner Israel, who in turn send her Chief of the Army to Kashmir, who closely observed the situation and suggested his suggestion to India.
Here I am forced to think of a point. Are we, being Kashmiris, fighting against the Indian occupation in our land or are we, being Muslims are fighting against the same BANI ISRAEL with whom we have been fighting from last 1400 years.
Now in order to counter the on going geo political situation, we must learn every thing that keeps their machines running. Simply it is the economy which drives them so smoothly. Today Israel has a share in almost every multinational company starting from a match box to a Boing jet. These Jewish beggars take their share; otherwise they are just 15 million in population across the globe.
Today the Obama administration in America is beating their drums so loudly that we want to make better relations with the Muslim world. If really America wants to do so, then we must recall the speech of Obama at Cairo University where he clearly advocated the Jews of being the victims of the Nazi holocaust and showed, even demanded the sympathy for this Zionist regime.  If Obama still remembers the 65 years old holocaust, how come he forgets the Israeli atrocities being done in Palestine right now? We are being deceived, we are being divided, in fact we are being led to the astray, but the question is that who is facilitating them to do so?
I am pointing towards the democrats who spread a disease called democracy to the empty headed dreamers. We are very deeply influenced by democracy.  This is the most lethal tool invented by our enemies to be used against us. In the democratic system, if a person wishes to run a brothel, he just needs a license and has to pay a little tax towards the government. Same is the process in case of bars, casinos and other forbidden organizations. In out spoken words, a democrat can not be a Muslim. Our people are boosting and advocating the democracy, just for their own benefits. Therefore the democratic leaders are the  real  traitors  within our ranks , who have  always being unwanted and  unwelcome every where, stripping our savings, destroying our  souls , raping our  culture and heritage . So cannot this be called an open war on the entire Muslim world? And we are proudly saying that the west is promoting some of our factions ----------AMAZING.

THE POLOTICS OF PARADISE

A Beautifull poem by one of our brother Muhammad Arooj.

I'm Kashmir! I'm talking today!
I'm Kashmir. I'm for my Kids!
When tyranny takes toll, the living are rendered dead
and the lifeless start singing songs
like stones in Kashmir do.
Today,Kashmir is whispering with a swell in her name
for her Kashmiris whom she call her 'kids'.
Let's listen to what Kashmir has to say.

I'm Kashmir! My age is gold!
My land is sold
My kids were killed My kids are killed
They are told, "dont say, you're kids of Kashmir!"

I'm Kashmir! Death cast a spell on me
By every ruler's deceptive decree
By the pre-emptive balm of gain
By the promise that got my kids in vain
They were told, "Sold is Kashmir!"

I'm Kashmir! My kids are burried in my chest
On the tyrrant rulers' behest
On the mothers' lap and nest
On the Indians' power and lust
They were told, "integral, ours is Kashmir!"

I'm Kashmir! I've seen chinar leaves coffin my kids
Killings never ended their bids
Killings always mushroomed their grids
Killings, killings and all my life skids
They are told,"don't say Kashmir, Kashmir!"

I'm Kashmir! My kids' blood used to paint peace
For brute force mars the meaning of peace
For the Indian guns shout at peace
For the occupation cancels any and every peace
They are told, "You killed a peaceful Kashmir!"

I'm Kashmir! Stones of my land are brave now
Stones are my kids' new protest now
Stones are life and death now
Stones are a trigger-revolution now
They are told, "stones, this Kashmir!"

I'm Kashmir! I'm here, with a peace attack
One stand, one attack
One vioce, one track
Go India, Go back!
I tell you, "to her kids belongs Kashmir!"

just wait for some days more

Chand Roz Aur Meri Jaan
Faqat Chand He Roz
Zulm Ki Chhaav me
dum Lene pe Majboor
Hain Hum,
Aur Kuchh Deir Sitam Seh
Lein Tadap Lein Ro Lein
Apne Ajdaad Ki Meeraas
Hain Mazoor Hain Hum,
Jism Pe Qaid Hai Jazbaat
Pe Zanjeerain Hain
Fiqr Mehboos Hai Guftaar
Pe Taajirein Hain
Apni Himmat Hai Ki Hum
Phiir Bhi Jiye Jaatein

Zindgi Kya Kissi Muflis ki
Kabaa Hai jisme
Har Ghadi Dard Ke
Paiband Siye Jaate Hain.

Englis translation.:

Some days more my
love! Just wait for some
days more.
Destiny brought us to
breathe under the shade
of pain only.
So let us endure pain ,
cry and weep for some
more time .
For this inheritance from
our ancestors,
We are helpless at the
moment .
Our bodies lie Chained ,
Our emotions are
curbed ,
Our thoughts are
imprisoned ,
Our language is under
ban.
Sheer courage makes us
to exist still.
Pity this life! It resembles
the tattered apparel of a
poor man,
Every moment which we
keep stitching with pain
only.

stone in my hand

Ride with the devil, hide with the lord
I got no pistol, ain't got no sword
I got no army, ain't got no land,
Ain't got nothing but the stone that's in my hand
Stone in my hand, stone in my hand
Ain't got nothing but the stone that's in my hand

You say you want a revolution, well get on board
We'll start a new crusade; we'll start a holy war
Don't need no orders, don't need no plan
I don't need nothing but the stone that's in my hand

Stone in my hand, stone in my hand
I don't need nothing but the stone that's in my hand
Stone in my hand, stone in my hand
I don't need nothing but the stone that's in my hand

You build your fighter jets, you drop your bombs
You kill our fathers, you kill our moms
You kill our brother and our sisters, and our uncles and our aunts
Still I'm fighting with the stone that's in my hand

Stone in my hand, stone in my hand
Still I'm fighting with the stone that's in my hand
Stone in my hand, stone in my hand
All the love that's in my heart and the stone that's in my hand

Blood runs in the gutters, smoke fills the sky
Every son that suffers, every mother cries
So if you've had enough and you're ready for your stand
I'll be waiting with the stone that's in my hand

Stone in my hand, stone in my hand
I'll be waiting with the stone that's in my hand
Stone in my hand, stone in my hand
All the love that's in my heart and the stone that's in my hand
